Via Postcrossing stuurde ik vorige week een ansichtkaart naar Janemm in Christ Church, Nieuw Zeeland. Christ Church werd vorig jaar getroffen door zware aardbevingen en in vergelijking met wat we hier gisteravond al dan niet voelden, stelde die 4. bij ons in Gelderland maar weinig voor. Gelukkig maar. Hieronder het berichtje dat ik vandaag in mijn mailbox ontving van Jane.

Thank you for the colourful card...and yes, we here in Christchurch are just beginning to think about what our new city might look and feel like when it comes to being rebuilt...even though it has been a year since the first of the 4 big quakes it all still seems quite unreal.During the last year there have been over 7500 aftershocks!
